Official Terms and Conditions of Draw

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE DRAW.
You will qualify for entry into a draw by completing at least one survey in the quarter of the draw as a member of Environics Panel.

Eligibility: All entrants who participated in at least one of Environics Panel surveys per quarter will be entered into a random drawing for the prizes described in section #3. To be eligible, each participant must successfully complete and submit at least one survey within the quarterly draw period and successfully complete all phases of the registration process. Only one entry allowed per person, per survey completed in the quarter. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the draw. Void where prohibited. All federal, national, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The draw begins at midnight EST on the first day of the quarter in which the survey is to be completed and ends at midnight EST on the last day of the same quarter.

General: Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited. Any attempts by an individual to access the site via a ‘bot’ script or other brute force attack will result in an IP address becoming ineligible. Sponsor reserve the right to cancel online entries for the drawing without notice if it becomes infected with a virus or otherwise technically corrupted or unfeasible. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions or failure or delayed, garbled or corrupted data transmitted by participants via the internet. All entries and completed Survey data becomes the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. By joining the Environics Panel, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Terms and Conditions and the decision of the judges, which shall be final, binding and conclusive on all matters. Draws start and end upon the official opening and closing of the quarterly drawing.

Prize: Prizes will be awarded on a quarterly basis to the winners in the amount of $500 and delivered to the winners by means of a cheque issued and mailed to the address provided by the winning participant.

Payment Details: If you qualified, completed a survey and were randomly chosen as a prize winner, the payment will be in the form of a cheque (unless otherwise specified in the survey invitation) and will be mailed to your address. Payments cannot be processed for invalid or incomplete addresses. Addresses must have a correct postal or zip code that matches the local address.

Selection of winners: All individuals that complete the necessary registration forms to become a new qualified member of the Environics Panel, and at least one survey in the quarter in question, will be entered into a random drawing for the prizes described in the invitation to become a member or on the Environics Panel web site. The drawing will take place within 10 days of the end of the draw period. All decisions are binding and final. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified via E-mail within five days of the drawing and must claim their prize by E-mail within 30 days of that notification by replying to the E-mail notification with their current postal address. Prize cheques will be mailed within 30 days of receipt of prize winner’s claim. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winners. Winners may be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility, and, where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, all within 30 days of acknowledged notification. By accepting and or using prize, each winner agrees to the use of his/her name, voice and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize within 30 days of notification, or fails to timely return of the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and prize amount will be donated to the charity of the Sponsor’s choice. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account.

Release of liability: All entrants release Environics Research Group, its clients, and each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all others associated with the development and execution of this website, panel, surveys, and draws from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this drawing and/or acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or loss. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Survey or panel membership application or any drawing or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Survey submissions or panel membership applications or drawings. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Survey responses or panel membership applications of the data. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in any Survey or panel membership application. Sponsor is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any Survey participant or panel applicant. If, for any reason, the Survey or panel recruitment effort is not capable of being executed as planned, including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Survey or panel recruitment, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the drawing without notice.
